i have a 3G iphone and cant find the 2.0 firmware file so i can start this process ... any idea?

Mine bounces in the dock, and then nothing.
What's the procedure to at least get it to start?

when you see error dfu mode its telling you put in DFU mode. restore to firmware from desktop. easy!
