Yeah, their instructions end at install pretty much. Does not like my reg. key either, or the License Name maybe (as I'm not 100% clear what that is meant to be either) ...

If you are on a PC, you can use the Plaxo Outlook plugin to sync your PIM data with a variety of endpoints like Google Calendar etc.

Sounds cool. Is there any usage documentation for the app anywhere though?

This seems great, but I can't figure out how to configure it. Anyone know how to find the Google Calendar SyncML URL. Does it exist?

Is there any way to sync securely? I don't really like the idea of sending my password in the clear.

Hi Patrick...
Your license name is patrickj, same as the "username". I realize it is not that clear...
We are working on some documentation for you folks. I am sure you can understand that during beta type phases, things change so hard that it is difficult to have up to date documentation always ready...
I am looking into goosync and I will try to get together a quick step by step process for signup for getting it working end to end...

SyncJe for iPhone and Goosync.com instructions...
Settings for goosync should be:
URL: http://sync.goosync.com
username: goosync username
password: goodsync password
Turn contacts off,
For Calendar, the folder name is "Calendar" without the quotes
Keep in mind, you will also have to log into the goosync web interface, and change your device there to be the iPhone. Login to https://www.goosync.com/Login.aspx then open My Device and then click on "Change Device…" button and find the iPhone.
Let me know if you still have issues...Lou

You can not sync with google directly. You have to sign up for Goosync.
How it works is:
-goosync will sync to your google account
-then your iPhone (with SyncJe) syncs with goosync
So the reverse of that is, if you add a cal entry on your iphone, it will get sync'd to goosync, then goosync pushes it to your google cal. Make sense?
The goosync site should make signup and setting fairly easy, then you can use the settings I put in a post above to setup SyncJe for iPhone.
There are similar ways to sync desktop calendars (both paid and free).
Let me know how it goes, we are working on some getting started guides which should give setup instructions in a bit more detail.Lou
