Does SMS allow you to add more recipients to a previous mass txt now because in 1.1.3 it did not?

Thx Star

Thanks for the review! Overall, the 3G is a hit!! One thing Apple missed was a "Select All" delete function for emails.......... that would be nice. Maybe the next update will have it.

Really nice review, PF, thanks.

A couple of things I didn't see mentioned:

• Syncing is snail-slow if you have a lot of apps installed. What I did to solve this, was to disable application syncing in iTunes, and then reinstall all the apps via the AppStore from the phone itself. Now syncing is zippy again.

• Contacts now has a Search bar.

• Calendar now supports multiple calendars!

• .wav files can now be played! This means that you can have Vonage forward your voicemails, and you will now be able to play them directly out of Mail. Nice! Yes, I know some .wav files were supported before, but not the ones from Vonage. I just tested and it's not that Vonage has switched formats...they still don't play under 1.1.4 firmware.

Added to original post - holding down .com button in Safari gives you a choice of .net, .edu, and .org as well.

Added: The calculator now includes a new feature - turn the iPhone sideways while in Calculator.app, and you get a scientific calculator.

A lot of the 2.0 features were already built into 1.1.3. I'm actually still on 1.1.3 because of the stability of it after you make everything perfect and hammer it out it never gives you any issues. My phone has been perfect for about 5 months with no reboots or problems and no crashes or things unexpected. That's the only reasons I have stayed on 1.1.3.

Now having said that, back to my point about 1.1.3 and 2.0. Features such as screen shot have been there all along, they just didn't enable it. Another feature that has been there all along is the save feature. As you can see from my screenshot below 1.1.3 knows you want to do an action, the actions just have not been enabled. Actions such as copy, paste, save, etc............

I am hoping 2.0 teaches us how to make these actions come to life in 1.1.3 and 1.1.4

One item of note that I have encountered and am a bit annoyed by is the multi-email delete ability. It;s great, don;t get me wrong. But if I have 20 messages in my inbox, 15 of which I read and want to delete and 5 of which are unread but I don't want to delete...when you click the Edit button you loose all notification of which messages are read and which ones are not. I just wish we could still see that after clicking on Edit.

I could just imagine the gang signs you were throwing up, trying to press the .com, home and sleep button with one hand. Awesome pics man

ive got the 3g in black and I love it, just itching to get it jailbroken!! One thing I have noticed is if u are closing an application like mail or safari and go straight to the SMS, the typinging of letters can be very slow to respond. Any else found this?

Still I don't care, this phone is easily the best thing I own!!
