Thanks PF for your review. I am personally waiting for the 3G to get unlocked and don't know how much I will have to pay for the phone but maybe worth not having to sign up with AT&T. Hate the handcuffs. For now, just waiting to get the 2.0 unlocked and use the functionality if the software. If I don't see the 3g speed maybe I won't notice that mine is so slow.
MMI great site & service for our community.

nice job. good feedback.
is the gps accuracy quantified? I was kind of interested in using the iPhone as a way to geocaching, but that definitely requires the well established 3m (~10 ft) accuracy of most standard GPS units. If it's not apparent in the maps program, what about the possibility of software utilizing it?

Oh how I would buy it if I hadn't got my first iPhone 2 weeks ago...I'd love the GPS. 3G isn't a biggie since I put it on T-Mobile anyways...Any changes in Bluetooth functionality? Anymore profiles?

Thanks for the review PF. Am waiting for the new pwnage tool before updating mine to FW 2.0. Not getting a 3G model. I'm on T-Mobile so no need. Does the save picture feature work with e-mails too? Can anyone confirm or deny that? Also does the keyboard still rotate if you turn the phone sideways when typing an e-mail? I hate that about the original phone.

It is way worth the 6 plus hour wait at International Plaza. The best was when one of the guys in line flipped out on the apple guy, and after being there for 5 hours just gets out of line and leaves

I live in Orlando, do you think I will have the same 3g speed as you?

For some reason, when I download an app from the APPstore (such as AIM), after 24 hours or so, when I try to open it, it goes back to the springboard. I tried syncing it with itunes to fix it and I tried restarting the iPhone. Didn't work. Only way I could get it to work was to delete it from the iphone and download it again from the appstore. It's been happening to me since I bought the iPhone on July 11th. Is anyone else having this problem? It's very frustrating. Thanks

for this to work, i believe that the maps will have to be stored on the phone itself.
the gps is great, but awkward for using as real in car sat nav at the moment.
and from what i understand, t-mobile 3g will work with the iphone by the end of the year. this was announced shortly after the keynote, so yes there is a reason for the t-mobile users to upgrade aswell.
it is amazing how much difference 3g makes. The Original Autobot of MMiJesus couldn't turn into a fire engine
