Camera Pro brings Zoom, Timer, Burst Mode, and more to the iPhone Camera

Clever cats Makayma Software have developed an app which allows you to have a much fuller set of features on your iPhone's camera. Meant as a replacement app to the iPhone camera, this app runs $19.95 (you can use it free, but you don't get all the features), and includes the following features:
Free Features:- Digital Zoom
- Black and White
- Image Size
- Auto-orientation
"Premium" Features (stuff you get if you pay the $19.99):- Self Timer
- Burst Mode
- Silent Shutter (for when you want her to think you're just sending a text
)
"Premium" Features Coming Soon (price will go up to $29.99 then, supposedly):- Manual Exposure
- Shutter Speed
- Scene Mode
All in all, a very cool app, stuff Apple should have included from the beginning.
Available via Installer.

Great App but I can't seem to find where the photos are kept. When I click on "Pictures" within CameraPro.app, I'm redirected to iPhone's Photo Albums but I can't seem to locate any of the pictures I took using CameraPro. Its not in Camera Roll or in Photo Library. I then used AFP to look at the various folders on the iPhone and still could not locate the pictures (I tried the Media folder, and looked around but to no avail). I've emailed the developers and hopefully will hear back soon. Other than that issue, I'm liking this app very much.

Ones you capture You should wait till the loading icon will finish working.
(its on the right side of the WI-FI icon)
after that you will see the pics in the Camera RollLast edited by simonsix; 12-30-2007 at 11:59 AM.

Are you emailing the photo? If not... kinda scary.
Still cool app though!
I was wondering if it was possible, seeing as how the other day I was taking a picture and accidentally hit the home button and when I open the camera app to take a pic, it was zoomed in 50%. It actually took the pictures zoomed in also. Crazy. Had to force quit the app for it to go back to normal.

I believe Camera Pro connects to send registration information. I tried using my registered Camera Pro without connecting and the registered functions (Silent Shutter and Fast Bursts) were greyed and not selectable. Pity that its designed this way. Once registered, it should unlock the software and not require to connect each time Camera Pro is launched to check.

I think that the spinning wheel next to the edge icon only spins to show that the picture is being saved in the picture directory. I dont believe it is sending and info over the wifi or edge connection
