second, if you werent such a dumbass noob you would know that i am in jacksonville, florida. see in the upper right of my post box.
idiot.
thirdly the razr thing was a joke, but hell you wouldnt know that. you can barely read english and you probly believe that ziphone was the first to unlock iphones and your iphone is magic and can make you a latte!

To all the iPhone noobs or people acting like kids who don't know sh*t,
1. The dev team released the source codes for the first iPhone making it possible for tools like Ziphone to come. This thread is not a discussion of which one you like more.
2. The software is free and they are working for nothing. Show some respect.
3. Like another guy said, if you don't want to wait, make your own jailbreak or shut up and be constructive.
4. Thank the dev team that you get to use your iPhone without the absurd fees.

seems like a war zone in this topic

alright, i think its about time to knock off the arguing. its immature and silly. now, what the hell was that video all about? they didn't try to use the "2.x" option, they used 1.1.4, which failed. It seems to me this video demonstrates backwards progress on the dev team's part. The interface is nice, but if the code don't work, the code don't work.

iPhoneDevTeam was not the first.
They were actually the 4th.
Though they did do the most work and the best work SO FAR.
The First Was
Jon Lech Johansen
Then
Geroge Hotz
Then
iPhoneSimFree Team
Look I'm Not Dissing The iPhone Dev Team
Look
I want to THANK the iPhone Dev Team for all their amazing and great work.
The only think I said is I don't really like how they showed a video of their program and not proof of a unlocked or jailbroken iPhone. Their video was pretty confusing and I just think they should have made is simple or better detailed. I also think they should release the process or source code that they used to jailbreak the 2.0 phone. So then other Developers and hackers and HELP so maybe we don't have to wait and could have already had a release today.
Also I said
What I don't get is why doesn't someone like Erica Sadun who has some apps on the appstore freaking hid some exploitable code or somting in her app so we can hack it easy.
Seriously someone make some fake pong app with hidden backend exploitable code so we can hack this thing already.

As far as I know, all the applications in the App Store are signed by Apple, meaning the code must be up to a certain specification. So a hidden back door hack probably wouldn't work. I'm not an opponent of such a thing, I'm just saying it probably wouldn't work.

paul how can u say u dont trust winpwn but u trust ziphone????
Ziphone got every piece of code from other people, he just wrote an app to do it all. pwnage is the only true unlock, if done correctly it will never cause the problems ziphone has. Just search this site for ziphone issues. Hundreds of pages.
yeah ziphone is idiot proof but it can do way more damage than pwnage ever did! Thats why there are two fixes for ziphoned iphones just to make cookies and itunes work!!!

ya thats true. but pwnage doesnt even jailbreak it right? it just makes the custom firmware ready for jailbreak? i tried winpwn but it was more confusing and heard problems about it. ziphone has always worked for me. unless some one comes out with a full winpwn tutorial video for us its confusing. and how much longer for this jailbreak to be released for windows? i dont need an unlock. i just need jailbreak. could you explain winpwn to me pls? i never really looked into it to much
