3g iPhone Yellow Screens = Apple Fail?

my screen looks perfect however if i turn my earpiece past #1 on my volume everyone i talked to sounds terrible. there is a crackle past volume 1

no matter though they only had the 8GB available by the time i got into the store so i plan on returning it with the $20 restocking fee for a 16GB within a week or 2

lets hope the new one has this same screen

Hahahaha sorry for the spelling mistake. It is close to Olympic time and i work for them so thats all I think about is MEDAL and not METAL.

I doubt Apple is going to replace anything. Its not like the screen doesnt work. Just because there is a slight tint of yellow doesnt make the screen not functional. I wonder how much money it will cost Apple to replace all those screen with so many 3G iPhone worldwide?

Apple wont replace it and people will get use to the yellow especially for new iPhone owners that never experience the first gen and have nothing to compare it to.

just take a look at 3g light in Apple Apps and 2g Flashlight in Installer big brightness difference By far Original iPhone 10xs Brighter......how dissappointing......I now have a app downloading and its frozen down load how do i get it from the circle to stop spinning and spinning???????

Try holding the power button down. this usually works for me when installer freezes on me. If that dosent work then restart the phone (Home+power)

Hmmm maybe the 16gig doesn't have the yellow tint? Perhaps Apple only used cheap LCD screens for the cheap $199 8gb? Ahhh who am I kidding?! Apple standards are crap now.

Wow, I had one of the first iPod touches and that had the bad blacks, then I got a refurbished 1st gen iPhone and that had a blue screen. Both of which I had replaced.
Luckily I can't get a 3g iPhone without an unlock so I am safe from this one!

wow, this is the exact fuel that the people who didnt get the 3g need right now.

i might use my gps tommorow to take me to my local apple store, but before i do that ill use my blazing 3g internet speeds to find the stores phone number.

none of which can be done on 2g.

because there is so much "wow im so glad i didnt get the 3g today! haha lolz at all of you that did" today, i was one of those, i have a yellow screen and im happy with it.

and no, the yellow screen definetely is not from the "sun" (lol)

I purchased a 16GB 3G this morning, and yes, it has a yellow tint, but no, I didn't notice it until I started reading this thread, and then compared it to my 2G 16GB. Maybe apple did this intentionally, perhaps to help with battery life to support 3G?
