3g iPhone Yellow Screens = Apple Fail?

Sooo glad I didn't sell my 1G and hop on the bandwagon.

Lookie.... 2.0, crystal clear screen, app store...... cheaper rate plan. WINNAR.

..Yeh...but, what about mobile web surfing.
2G sucks.

No GPS...

And the headphone jack is stupidly recessed.

And - im guessing the Yellow Screen will be replaced at Apples cost...

Well I had the Powerbook G4 (medal), a White Macbook and a Black Macbook and I must say that the Powerbook was very durable because i dropped it so many times and it still works. The White Macbook is durable but shows scratches very easily and the white kind of starts to discolor and shows stains. (you can try to google that)
Also from another site they are talking about taking the iPhone 3G apart and they are saying how the G3 is put together differently. (maybe to save cost or who knows what)
Who cares what I say hahaha back to the iPhone.
Only time will tell.

Hmmm, so if all iPhones have this?? How many do you think, are they gonna replace :P Like, they won't replace all the 1million (approx figure) they've produced, because of a cheaper display.

yea ive got a yellowish screen, but its only obvious when compared to my old iphone. plus when comparing i thought the new 3g screen has finer detail.

i didnt really want the 3g because so what if it has 3g i have t-mobile! and you have to activate it in the stores really? come on apple. i just happy i have my normal iphone because its all anyone needs

I'm almost always near a hotspot.

GPS....... like you don't know where you are standing.

I use bluetooth, what headphone jack.......

More pain, more problems, more downtime.

Moore's Law

Although Moore states every two years computer chips get better and iPhone only has been out for a year. Newer things will always be better than old. Still, extraterrestial technology is some cool *** **** to have!

soon this phone too will be jailbroken and that's even tighter.

But wouldn't that affect Video quality? Everything will be toned Yellow...almost like shooting videos without white balancing

7 to 3 right now in favor of yellow screens. Man, if this keeps up, the 3G iPhone will be remembered as a lemon at launch. That's really unfortunate for all of you that are getting one today.

Well, MacBooks are made of plastic - and theyre pretty solid construction.

I would not say that. Mine is only a year old and pealing and cracking on the corners. $195 to fix in the Apple store. NOT COVERED BY WARRENTY

I was just watching the mobile me guided tour and the screen on Johns Iphone seems to have a yellow tint too.

wow, this is the exact fuel that the people who didnt get the 3g need right now.

i might use my gps tommorow to take me to my local apple store, but before i do that ill use my blazing 3g internet speeds to find the stores phone number.

none of which can be done on 2g.

Well the same thing could be said about the first gen iphone, that screen is tinted blue alittle bit..

If enough people complain to apple on their site maybe they would release a gamma type setting in a future update

@ reeko, its not fuel M8. Its a disappointment to hear that the screen is yellow. I personally did NOT get a 3G iPhone, but I certainly don't want to see those who did have this kind of problem. I was as excited as anyone for the launch and have been here all morning to read about how great the 3G iphone is. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.
