There is nothing we can do, but your devices are not permanently bricked. They are downloading and restoring the firmware correctly, but the servers are not allowing us to activate the phones regardless of if they are the 3g or the original. The problem is that Apple's servers blow and Apple in return sucks to try to even out the blowing.

As soon as the load on the servers decreases, or Apple's intelligence quota increases, you will be able to activate again.

I downloaded the firmware and updated yesterday, and now when iTunes won't download 2.0 because it doesn't think that I need to update my phone. How do I get iTunes to download the newest version of 2.0? Or where on apple's website would I do it manually?

Hey KelvinalF, isn't that the link to the 2.0 that was leaked yesterday? I was told the one that was released today was different. I upgraded with the one yesterday and it's not working 100%. I was wondering where we can grab the newest release?
