Jesus Diaz from Gizmodo has confirmed that the official 2.0 release is in fact jailbroken and unlocked both - and the dev team will be releasing the new Pwnage tool soon.

You will be able to jailbrake but no need for unlock since thats for the phone only.

ahhhhh i cannot wait, having all these amazing apps sitting in my itunes is breaking my heart. I almost want to upgrade to 2.0 just to check it out, but then i won't be able to make calls with my tmobile sim card..
