Firmware 2.0 Vs Devs - Devs win by jailbreaking it
I am posting this as a rumor for now, but my PM box got filled with links, so Ill post it. Thanks to all that sent this in.
The iphone Dev team has posted a few picks showing the app store, installer, cydia, bootneuter and some apps as well on their home screen. They have not released how they did it yet, so look forward to that in the next few days.

relax i gave you credit in the original post, and i did thank you, twice now. Keep in mind, I got about 12 PMs all pointing to the same thing and to a few different iphone blogs. Just remember that just because it is jailbroken does NOT mean that any apps will work right off the bat. Just as it was with previous FW upgrades it may take a while for apps to be updated if they get updated at all. so if you are wanting to upgrade AND keep your apps you may want to hold off a while until they are updated.

i don't doubt the devteam,
but who made installer, cydia, and all the other apps work on 2.0?
could just be the icon. show me installer working!

You can change the carrier name with out unlocking.

just take it easy, like everything, see to believe... and too much fith on them, the probl isnt jailbreaking or unlocking, is to get the apps to work on 2.0, otherwise, useless whit appstore requisites for apps.
