The 225 mb one is a testing firmware built for testing on 3G IPHONES.
The 218 one is the correct firmware and will run faster on your classic 1g iphones.

I'm with Swayne001 back on page 12. We/I have a 1.1.4 jailbroken phone, ATT customer. Can we just plug into iTunes 7.7 and upgrade to 2.0? I dont need it unlocked, just jailbroken.

I FINALLY managed to unbrick my iPhone, after 2 days of pain. I just posted a tutorial on how to get this back. Following the solutions offered by the internet crowd was a painful process and I hope my tutorial will help the daring users who tried to upgrade by summarizing my success receipe.

I got my origanl iPhone upgraded to 2.0 and lost all my favorites and calender events manually placed into the phone. I had Birthdays in there. Is there any way to retrive it from an old back up or is it gone for good?
