Access The AppStore via iTunes

Well the iTunes 7.7 Out thread lead to something really cool. thefragman decided to make his first posts here on MMi instructions for accessing the AppStore via iTunes. thanks thefragman!

1) Go to your itunes store home.
2) Right click on the music link and copy the address.
3) Paste into your browser.
4 I believe the id is 36.

i was surprised by myspace too, cuz on the sidekick it costs 2 or 3 dollars a month

Wooo Hoo!

You can simply Search Applications and gazzom

it pull up 2 applications .. click on See All , it will take u to the all applications with icons -- Click on any app icon then AppStore >>Appears in the Path....Click that ! & the Appstore welcomes you .!

Just download a single app, then the Application button will show in the Library. Then, at the bottom you'll see "Get more applications". I read that some people cant see it.

EDIT:

Or --> Preferences, and then under the General tab click on Applications. It should show up on the left hand side of iTunes then.

1. Just type in the name of a common application, i.e. "AIM".
2. Click the AIM application.
3. The top of the screen has a filetree that has a picture of a house (home)-->App Store-->Social Networking-->AIM. Just click the part that says "App Store" and It will bring you to the main app page.

my work has the itunes store blocked. cant access it... anyone know a way around?

By the way, I just took some time to browse the store and the result is discouraging. If what I saw (about half of it) is a statistically significant indicator, about 70-80% of the apps present in the store are pure trash. Unintuitive, poorly designed and feature-dry. I REALLY expected to see MUCH more. Sad, sad state of affairs.
