VERY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why make a mobile version for iPhone? come on, iPhone has a real web browser, don't make mobile versions...

Why make a mobile version? Because iPhone has a great browser, sure, but we designed this site for a 1024x768 or larger resolution. Squeeze all that crap into 320x480 (smaller, in fact, with the Safari buttons and iPhone status bar at top) and you suddenly need needle sized fingers to press the links you want.

Can the icons for each thread link to "last viewed post" and can we get some way of quoting?

Nice work PF, but I have to admit I prefer the "old" iPhone version better. I definitely understand the concept behind the idea, but it seems almost too watered down. Not having links for new posts and such makes it a bit more tedious to navigate the site. Again, your hard work is much appreciated, but is there any way you could still allow the old iPhone version along with this one?

Both good ideas. At the moment, the only way to link to the end of the thread is open thread, then click last. I will have to think if there is a better implementation to get to the last thread from the forum display page.

I'd much prefer to continue to tweak this one to match the wants of the users. I can add a mini-navbar under the private messages area with a couple important links.

Is it possible to add a little of the members info in their posts, i.e. post count/avatar? I don't know how feasible that would be with regards to bandwidth and resolution. Thanks again!!

Who thanked for thread will not be implemented in this style. Number of thanks I may put in now.

Editing and and quoting are planned.

Moderating tools not sure, we'll see about that later.

i set cookies to allow always, still have to log in each time and every page goes back to original mmi.
no ziphone here. Iliberty, then boot neutered to 4.6
i used to have an app from installer called iRemember. Restored and cant find it anymore!
it seemed to fix the cookie problem with myspace and this site before??????

About the thanking people feature; All I was asking for was a Thanks button and maybe the stat of thanked 116 times in 100 posts. Just a thought...
