Let me first say the back is defintely going to annoy people. We received our demo's in our store & it smudges everywhere! Love the feel & weight of the new iphone 3G. It's about 1-2cm wider than the prior model. I confirmed that with my current 2G iphone. Can't wait to start selling these in a few days

Sucks that I couldn't get the AppStore to launch since we can't activate them until thurs.

I'm not up to par with my measurements The new one is slightly wider. It did feel comfortable in my hand. One thing I do wish is it had the nice solid weight feel the current one has.

That's a relief -- I thought I was going to have to have all my shirt pockets widened!

As far as the weight is concerned, if the new iPhone is a bit lighter, it wouldn't bother me.
