Ditto on the spelling... caveat is Latin.
Note: the web address you referenced is wrong. The correct address is
touchmods.blog.com

The service I use is free, and unlimited. There are many different options for service. Most service ranges from 0-$25 a month. I use voip as my home phone, with a SIP router hooked to my cable modem, or I can use my laptop w/ a soft phone app anywhere I take it where there is a wifi signal. I love VOIP, been using it for 3 years. I dropped my cell service and just use a prepaid cell sparingly and do all my jibber jabbering on my voip phone at home. Since I'm home most the time or will be soon, it works out great. The clarity can't be beat, and dropped calls are rare.
I just tried to get Touchmods Voip app to work on my iphone, but no luck yet, it installs fine...and it rings the phone I am calling but I can't hear anything...Guessing the app needs to be configured to work w/ the iphones built in speaker and mic?...Last edited by mojojojo; 12-31-2007 at 10:04 PM.

It works on the iPhone, however, you have to buy an external Microphone. I am sure someone can figure out how to be able to use the iPhone Mic... just ask every Developer you see
