It seems like in order to silent your videoringtone is to quickly press the volume button, make your ipod player to minimum sound or the problematic separating the video and the sound.

This app would be great if the silent feature was sorted out without pressing the volume buttons.

Also, please would the developer make the ringtone volume constant. Like I mean I use my ipod player on the iphone quite regularly and dont turn up to the max volume when I listen. When I finish listening I tend to forget to turn the volume bar to maximum so when someone phones me the volume of the videoringtone will be quiet.

The second problem is the best way to conquer the silent problem at the moment but it's also a problem as well...

I hope I make some sense in what I write, I didn't work it too well did I?

okay but i imported the m4v file and i want to chop the movie to the part i want. and it wont allow me to put the clip into the imovie timeline.. but ill keep trying. it weird too.. ive used imovie for two years for a class at school.. and something simple like this im having aa hard time doing

A quick and easy way to have the latest video tones all u have to do is get mxtube which allows you to save videos in the mxtube file, next u need file browser to go to mxtube and then u copy the video u saved ! Then simply paste it to the video file inside of video tones and bam , simple , if this helps u out let me know , excellent program !

ok i used imtoo iphone video converter used the mpeg4 480x320 then clicked on enode then after done i renamed the extension from mp4 to m4v then i used openssh on the iphone on wifi and winscp on the computer to ftp the video to root/private/var/mobile/Media/VideoTone/Video then u will see the default video there now go ahead and drag the video file u made from ur computer which is on the left side to the folder where u see the default video and then click on cope then wam done now exit out and go to ur l setting on the iphone then at the bottom u will see videotone then click on video and u will see ur video u have made..

is it just me or does the battery life die fairly quickly with the use of this program??

Most apps that require additional processing threads will suck up the battery quite quickly. Remember you phone has to throttle up that processor when that video flicks on. This is one of those Toy apps, that can show off the iPhones capabilities and become the subject of conversation in the street. But alas still a TOY app.
Props to the DEVs (A good exercise in programming) and a fun app for the kiddies...

I hope the videotones app will get updated. vwallpaper has made their app to obey the silent switch and it doesnt go quiet when u turn the ipod volume down. ATM, im using vwallpaper but as soon as the app obeys the silent switch I will be going back to videotones and donate loads too!

Thats just not working for me. When i press paste nothing happens. the paste option dissapearas but mp.4 file is not in the folder. do i have to change permission or something. any ideas?

Hmmm...same same for me :-(
Have never the personalize working in any version so far.
Somebody know why??
