Going from last year, your best bet was an Apple store. AT&T stores only got a few while Apple stores got 1000s

I hope it's not like the MacBook Air where he announced it and didn't become available for 2 weeks in the stores (although you could "pre-order" online right after the keynote speech)

Alhonestly my main concern is exchange, because the last (2) betas did not work with exchange. It would only work in a basic business environment, not a secured one that requires certificates. Ill be pissed if it doesnt support it

just went to the ATT corporate store a few blocks from home here, guy said no phones today or they would be there already. also said that he is not sure on an upgrade plan, but apple is trying to get on track like cell phones are currently being sold (rebate at contract roll, or upgrade plan in this case, and full price phone otherwise that does not extend the contract)

He did sound hopeful of an upgrade plan, but did not have anything solid to give me.

Bad news = no phone today (at least at his corporate store, Hoboken NJ)

good news = possible upgrade plan.
