Ummm...the Bloomberg article is over in the Chit Chat section. And no, this wasn't said at some "Churchhill Club".

Nice for whom ?
I think he means 3G on new iPhones coming out in '08, not existing ones you and I have today.

I hope they can improve the battery life. 3g sucks up some batteries. Three hours talk time would suck!

So is it going to be an upgrade to our current phones or are we going to have to buy new ones?

hmm...perhaps if we raise hell enough like the early buyers(including myself) when they dropped the price $200 not more than two months after launch, we can at least get ourselves an tradein/upgrade discount or something and get the new model
but then again...the stance that apple has been taking lately i'm not getting my hopes up lol, if it really comes down to it i'm sticking with my phone now, i'm not forking out another few hundred dollars for faster data transferPeter: "Brian! There's a message in my alphabits! It says 'OOOOOOOOO'!!!!!"
Brian: "Peter...those are Cheerios."

Im pretty sure it will be a while new iphone, I think the insides of the phone are different, like the receivers and antennas and such, on a 3g phone
i LOVE apple.

It will be a good improvement over this one; if they're going to enter the 3G market, their weapon will have to stand out. Hopefully it will be the sexiest looking 3G phone ever, with all the features we use and need. I can see it now: the primary camera may be >3MP, a 2nd camera hidden behind the screen, the phone will be just as thin as the first G iPhone (maybe thinner), it will have Bluetooth, and of course...it will have a fresh new challenge to give to the hackers. Can't wait to get my hands on this.
