Anyone know if the big release thing is gonna be on tv? If so what channel and time? If not, where can I see it? Sorry this is my first time to watch an Apple release.

Maybe the dot in the right corner of the phone could be where the light is absorbed so the phone can recharge in sunlight, if anyone remembers apple was going to make iphones rechargeable in sunlight.

You newbies are pissing me off, you see a letter and automatically assume its legit? Look at what can be produced in literally 5 mins

Also I can almost guarantee you this is a colorware iPhone. Or a cheap photoshop. Just look at that random grey dot on the front, Its not even inline with the rest of the phone. They just used the paint tool to make a grey dot

How? It is COMPLETELY identically to the current iPhone besides being a different colour.

It can also be a gasp a blank cd! Apple hasnt included iTunes installation cds with products for a long time. Did your iPhone come with one? No, it didn't since you need a bloddy internet connection in the first place AND a copy of iTunes from apples site to activate it.

I honestly believe the original picture is legit but I also believe the front camera is photoshoped on as a joke..

I reckon Steve Jobs is a loser who had no friends when he was growing up and is loving all this attention. Seriously, yeah OK the iPhone is cool and all, but why all the secrecy? Is he trying to prove a point? Does it make him feel superior? Does it get him excited? That's just sad. The guy has obviously been deprived of attention while growing up

Yes its the mac os x lolcat beta also a cure to cancer and a way to live forever. Comeon guys its just a photo shop. Do you really think apple would go back to cheap white plastic? Look at the iMac and the MacBook Air or hell even the little apple in the menu bar of leopard, its all transitioning to black glass

If he lets the cat out of the bag early it could hurt the company's stock and also ruin his keynote presentations he's always famous for

or more likely, he has a half decent head for business...knows the secrecy will generate interest, and the interest will generate sales...?

Not knowing what's in the iPhone or what it looks like will not stop people from buying it. In fact, if people knew what was in it, they'd be more inclined to wait for it instead of purchasing another handset.
