Nothing could make me happy more than this. VLC is the best multimedia player. I would love to use it in my iphone as it supports maximum video formats.

Worthless
If you are downloading this to play .avi's don't waste your time. .Avis is my only reason, and to me this app is worthless.

Is it true? Just can't believe that VLC is available in iphone now. There is no doubt VLC is one the best multimedia player as it supports maximum formats of video files. Now VLC in iphone is going to rock.

VLC by is a popular multi-format video and audio player for a wide variety of systems. Within the past few days ZodTTD has successfully ported over VLC to the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, according to ZodTTD the app will soon play FLAC, OGG and perhaps VCD, DivX, XVIX, WMA, WMV. The app is still in beta at present, and you can only get if if you are a donating member of ZodTTD.

So are you saying if I donate, which I don't mind, that the player will work with my 3Gs? And at a higher video setting?

Finally it is the time to relax. There is no more problem of converting videos. VLC is my favorite multimedia player. I love it. People can't know how useful is VLC if they do not use it.

Hello.....anyone out there? Just would like to know how many people this app works for and what formats, other than the native mp4 and .mov? Otherwise I would seriously not consider this as much news as I thought it was.

Well I just got around to downloading this for my 3GS. I was hoping for something to hold me over till coreplayer, but I'm getting something like PCeasar is with the framerate on mkvs. Off it comes as almost as fast as it went on unfort and I'll go back to waiting for coreplayer on cydia.

I downloaded the vlc iphone app..but how do you use it? I see my videos(I made a few videos with the cyvideo app) But in Music and Itunes there is gobblegook. You know ASGH.mp3 etc etc.or itunes libraries, which are useless. How do you port files over? Syncing aint gonna do it..is it?
BTW I only jailbroke a few hours ago.
ALSO I downloaded an mp3 file that came by email, but when I looked it wasnt in DOWNLOADS. I know vlc is a versatile thing(I dont use it that much tho) I have noticed that some of the apps Im installing arent creating icons.
