Real Shot of the 3g iPhone?

Edit: This pic has turned out to be a prank check out this post for where the image came from.

An anonymous tipster has sent us an image of the 3g iPhone. When I say anonymous I mean it; the email is completely untraceable sent through the dizum service.

According to our source this is a shot of the rear of the new iPhone taken at a major Apple store (I'm leaving the store location out to respect the source's anonymity, if you're smart you can probably make a very good guess to the location ) on Saturday. At possible risk of employment he/she has provided us with this photo because he/she feels that the iPhone community should have a little hint of what's coming. Note: This is not an iPhone case, this is the iPhone.

of course we have no way to tell if this is a real shot or an elaborate prank, but just in case it is the real thing, I am posting this thread

It looks as if someone just spray painted the iPhone black mabye that will be one of the new colors available I really dont think there going to change the body of the iPhone yet

looks exactly the same lol, someone mentioned a non-recessed ear phone jack, looks pretty recessed to me.

I don't get why you guys state all your news as facts. ALL of it.

You don't know if it's real yet you state it as real. Everything you guys post is like this. Also that picture looks photoshopped, obviously.

I think I just wet my pants....photoshopped,fake,prank.real...doesnt matter it looks good and its keeping all of us on the edge of our seats, so thanx for posting and sharing cash.

I call fake, though i appreciate it being shared.
Its the exact same thing, even a recessed headphone jack, which according to other sources will no longer be in the 3G iPhone.

as mentioned above this is all speculation but here is the full version of the above photo....

in saying alll this, most of the iphone "fakes" seem to be quite resonable, and there is even a pic of the 3g iphone in white, and we all no that apple likes to start off with their patent colours, black, silver nd white and then they expand to the rainbow

if u want to keep the shape for the iphone, it has to be recessed, or it would look so horrible at the top, it may be at the bottom as the ipod touch, but dont think so.
if u see the ear phone jack is in the middle, if the real iphone is a little bitt thinner the jack would be bigger, i have to told u this picture may be a fake, ooooooooooooor its not the final release of a real iphone, if it is from the SF shooting it could be a non functional prototipe

Though it may appear recessed, it is really hard to tell at that angle. It could still be recessed, but now wide enough to accept a standard jack, or it could be slightly raised (since we're only talking like, 1/8" that the first gen iPhone needs to accept a standard jack).

Even if this is a fake photoshopped prank, it is a neat concept on which others could base a new case/skin off of. Either way, the image looks neat, so kudos to it. More kudos if it is indeed the 3G iPhone.
