iPhone SDK beta 6 is out!

Apple Wednesday afternoon released the sixth beta version of the iPhone SDK.

According to the notes, beta 6 requires OS X 10.5.3, and will not function correctly on previous versions of OS X. The SDK is a whopping 1.19 GB download (which I'm currently pulling down at 200 kb/s ).

From the readme:

This sixth beta release of the iPhone SDK includes a complete set of tools, compilers, frameworks, and documentation for creating iPhone OS applications. These tools include the Xcode IDE, and the Instruments analysis tool, among many others. With this software you can develop applications that run on iPhone and iPod touch using the included iPhone Simulator.

what's new, i just hope the iphone jailbreak/installer/cydia comunnity will stay alive. After all apple is becoming more like m$ with their "if we can't make money off of it we won't give it to them"

Why do you guys constantly brag about your internet speed - at 200 or 200kbps it's really nothing to be proud off.
But just to add to the fun and let you know what real speeds are... I'm sitting outside of Amsterdam downloading at 1850 kb/s - suck on that ) (16Mb line - going to 20 next month - and its reaaaal cheap)

I got that before, believe you have to repair some permissions on some folders, repair permissions on your whole disk - a google search might also return the solution, sorry I can't help further.

All of you people are getting happy about downloading the SDk fast.

I mean what will this SDK do that others has not done.

As it stands we still dont have no bluetooth trasnfer but none of dev team are there to help.

Now i will probably get reply like,uuummmm there is a forum for it so post the request there but for some reason dev team are not responding at all there.

why should anyone be happy about a tool that can not get a simple function such as bluetooth to transfer file.
