GUIDE: Accessing iPhone Straight from Finder (AFP)
For those of you who weren't sure how to use AFP, or what it was, we've got a new guide up. For OS X users this pretty much negates the need for any 3rd party apps while accessing your iPhone.

well cool
got it to work
took a couple of connection attempts, but got in!
now, how do i add/change wallpapers and stuff from there?
i have all my custom icons etc. in a folder, i want to install the on phone
i could not manage to do so with customize? it just crashes when i click on the alternate logos.
should be easier from here with the direct connect
but what is it listed under?
prefs, framework,library,private/library? cant find it
school me please
thank you

What? Look at the guide, you don't go to the site to download the source, you add it from Installer. That URL IS the source, you add it in the Installer app, NOT plug it into Safari.
This thread is simply about this mod. For instructions or tips/hints about the iPhone file system, please start a new thread in the appropriate forum.Last edited by Kyle Matthews; 11-18-2007 at 06:56 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

This would be a nice addition to Services.app as well.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Either the afpd service is not started (install UIctl from Installer to check), or you are putting in the wrong IP address.
