Default News Flash: iPHone Seen in Public
Engadget.com is reporting the first public pics taken of the iPhone. Evidently, it's on the CalTrain on the way to Cupertino.

Could be the real deal. Walt Mossberg is testing one right now, so I doubt if he's the only one that's be given the chance.

    Looks real.

Many people are saying that it looks like Mike Matas who works for Apple designing interfaces.... www.mikematas.com

    Rumours...

There are currently five active iPhones in the country. The owners are Steve Jobs(CEO, Apple), Mr. Sigman(CEO, AT&T), Walt Mossberg(Technological analyst and reviewer), and the other two are ordinary people that don't attract a lot of attention to themselves. The reason these phones are active is so that AT&T can work the kinks out of the network by launch day. Due to man with the iPhone's close proximity to Cupertino, he's most likely part of the iPhone "beta-testing" group.

I heard it was more like ten people field testing the phone in normal cell phone usage locations like subway stations, airports, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.

I'm willing to bet that there are plenty more then 5 in circulation as of rite now. That would just be ignorant of Apple/Att to only field test 5 units right now.
