Well call me last month news but I'm still running my 1.0.2 firmware.
I activated using DVD John's method (with hex editing) and unlocked with both iunlock and anysim (early days of unlocking) I don't know which one worked.
What should I do?
Stay on the safe side? Upgrade to 1.1.1? to 1.1.2?
With Independance out, I was hoping for a 1 or 2 step process. It may be there, but I can't find it...

@giojane: I say go for 1.1.1! All the good apps are being redeveloped for 1.1.1 and 1.1.1 brings some good features to the table. In addition, iD2 can jailbreak 1.1.1 in virtually no time!

Trust me, I timed myself as I did it and I was able to jailbreak a freshly restored 1.1.1 iPhone in 3 minutes and 47 seconds! Those are results you just can't compare with

Still a couple bugs need to be tweaked. For Example, I am running Vista 1440 X 900 and at the bottom where it says "Remember to press the refresh..after entering new Ip" it is overlapping the box to insert the IP address..... making it hard to enter ure ip address (Not too visible)

I cant get my 1.1.2 iphone jailbroken. I installed oktoprep in 1.1.1 then updated to 1.1.2 and when i click on jailbreak 1.1.2 in iDemocracy i get an "unknown method error" followed by another error.

Hey all,

A Mac version might just appear soon (as soon as I get enough donations for a Macbook pro).

I can't understand why some of you can't download it... I can download just fine, and apparently so can 4472 other people... Try a different computer, different wifi connection, different browser...

And be sure to grab the .NET framework 3.5 from the Downloads section as well to make it work.

And I know about the problems on Vista. Notice that all my screenshots are in Windows Classic: That's because Aero screws everything up. If the little things bother you too much switch to Classic...

And people who can't run the program because of errors: you need .NET 3.0 or greater. Available in the downloads section.
