Jailbreak 1.1.2 software released Win/OS X

So many are confused about how exactly to jailbreak to 1.1.2

If you are running a 1.1.2 phone you need to get back to 1.1.1. This method is documented countless times on this site and the rest of the web. If is also included in the readme file packaged in the zip file linked below.

Now that you have a 1.1.1 phone you need to get installer working.

Install OktoPrep via Installer

upgrade to 1.1.2

Conceited software has released software that will jailbreak 1.1.2, installs installer, and install ssh app. Both windows and mac versions are available and you can get them here:

Run the conceited software 1.1.2 jailbreak software, it will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Note: if you did not install OktoPrep before you upgraded to 1.1.2 none of this will work

Hey my comp tells me nothing about an update so I dont know what is up. But whats the concieted software thing about. How do you do it. I know u have 1.1.1 then install oktoprep then plug in and update so then will that give me installer added already? If not do u have to add the software thing? My cyberduck doesnt work with my iphone so how would I get it on?

Unlocking the SIM is still not posssible?? SO if you have anything other then AT&T then you shouldnt do this correct???

When do you think the ANYSIM will come out for ppl like me in Canada?

Don't update yet 'till AnySim works on 1.1.2. There's nothing important on this update anyways.

Can anyone confirm that this has worked for them in the USA? iTunes doesnt allow me ot update to 1.1.2. I've tried a few times now but I don't have an option to "upgrade" to 1.1.2. I understand I can restore to 1.1.2 by downloading the firmware and doing the Opt+click... but this doesn't jailbreak me...

Has this worked for anyone in the USA?

cant get it to run right..grrrrrrrrrr ..windows.bat is not doing it job,,,and the java GUI says it cant launch iphuc,,,what does the oktoprep do exactly,create a sim link?iam not sure my oktoprep went right!!! its saying that it has to have the oktoprep installed before you can jaibreak but i forsure i did it ...??

WE don't have an option to upgrade to this Saskwatch of 1.1.2!
Itunes is happy with 111 for now and says your thing is up to date!

guys 1.1.2 isnt worth it. Its for euros to change time n **** nothin new.
Does anyone know if cyberduck works with iphone 1.1.1?

just finished in osx if you double click the osx icon nothng happens put if you use terminal to execute it then it works.

Edit: Didn't work the first time but I did a restore to 1.1.2 not an Update. So after downgrading to 1.0.2 and bicking then unbricking my iPhone (long process) I got back to 1.1.1 jailbreaked installed OkToPrep then updated to 1.1.2 and it worked seamlessly. But on the next update unless it something major I am staying on 1.1.2, LOL

Mine is giving the same error and oktoprep installed fine before I updated to 1.1.2

Yes, cyberduck works with 1.1.1, as long as you have SSH installed.

1.1.2 is actually pretty neat if you want French preferences!

so just to clarify, i don't really need to do this if i don't want 1.1.2, aint broke don't fix it, but if/when i plug into itunes, does it force me to update before syncing etc? or can i just opt NOT to update and continue using itunes as usual?
