does anybody else have the problem of playing live tv? For me, it plays for about 2 seconds, pauses, then plays again, looping in that pattern.

I was originally only getting channel 3 on live TV.
I figured out my problem, I don't have a set-top box, and that was checked. I unchecked it and can now view all channels!!!
My PC already has a TV tuner installed, I believe it's the Hauppauge WinTV 885 video capture.
Anyone else with this problem,
tick "ORB icon" in your tray on PC,
tick "setup Tv signal and provider"
tick "I don't have a set-top box"
then follow prompts.
Maybe this will help someone else out.

Some guy posted this in another forum....anyone know if this would work?
" Do you have an itouch or iphone with this on it? Here is an idea... you could down load checksumcoders latest VLC plugin. With this plugin you can broadcast your slingbox (while you are watching the slingbox onyour pc with the VLC media player) to a port on your LAN. There was not a lot of documentation on ORBlive, but it sounds like you can open the URL of your LAN and watch your slingbox on your touch with ORBLive. "
Does anyone know if this would work?.........just curious.....
05-10-2008, 01:03 PM #70is anyone willing to post their profile? I understand that once an account is public, anyone can change stuff around, but I'd just like to watch some TV, and don't have a TV tuner.
lets start the p2p video streaming revolution

Yesterday I went out and purchased the Hauppage WinTV-HVR-950 hybrid video recorder (1198), So I could watch tv on my Windows XP computer. The guy at Circuit City said this will work with Direct Tv but after hours of messing with it I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone know if this is true, because I can get the antenna type TV to work but can't get Direct Tv to play. Any help would be greatful. I am about to bring it back to the store. Thanks again.iPhone 4 32GB

Wow, this is AWESOME!
I hooked it up in about 10 minutes and it works great!
Unfortunately, TV sucks a nut over EDGE... It's good if you HAVE to watch some sporting event, though and there's no TV around!

KWorld ATSC 120 PlusTV HD 120 Digital/Analog HDTV PCI TV Tuner
$58 Now that is cheap for what it is. This is a normal PCI not PCI-E. And I just bought a 750GB 32mb Samsung for $119 from newegg... so I will be able to record as much as i want
