Everything else works though, nice app!!!
It plays recorded TV shows, just not live.
Live TV works, it just had to download my listings, woohooo!!!
Update, It appears to only get channel 3 ESPN. I'll have to check again later.

Is anyone willing to post their profile? I understand that once an account is public, anyone can change stuff around, but I'd just like to watch some TV, and don't have a TV tuner.

It seems a bit much that if you want to watch live tv on your iPhone then you have to buy a pc tv tuner.
Why doesnt ORB set up a free account with all this stuff readily available so that any iPhone user can just log in to that account and watch live tv i.e. (username: guest, password: guest), i mean the software is completely free anyway.

Its a way of tracking its users. Anywayyyy....
I AM HAVING 3 Problems, mostly AUDIO w/ this... I have a LIFE VIEW piece of **** tv tuner card, works, but heres my problem. . its plugged in through a cable wire, but there is Audio In, and Audio Out inputs in the back. How do i wire that so I can hear the TV in my speakers and my PC through my speakers w/o doing anything?
#2- When I watch something on my iphone through ORB, does anyone, like me, notice that your PC is playing the AUDIO in the background? like, even if your not sitting there, you hear the channel on your PC.
and #3. I dont hear audio on my iphone! how does ORB pick it up for its live tv streams ? Video works great tho... great app. Wish I could get this working audio wise.

I'm only getting channel 3 for some reason when trying to view live TV. The setup never asked me to do anything with a remote, as previously stated, so not sure how to set that up.
I recorded "Lost" last night and it will play fine, but it saved it in 2 parts, one 20 minutes and one 22 minutes. Hopefully we can all get this working to it's full potential.

I have a SlingBox that I bought a few months ago and I have SlingPlayer installed on my desktop computer. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they know, or have an idea, if orb will recognize that I have a SlingBox and SlingPlayer and let me setup and watch TV on my iPhone.
I also noticed that someone else earlier mentioned that they have a slingbox . They said that they were just going to wait for SlingPlayer to come out for the iPhone. Does anyone know if the people who make SlingBox (Sling Media) are planning to come out with this? Or do I have to buy a TV Tuner for my PC?
Lastly, can people please post information (ex: brand & model number) on their TV Tuner's if they can CONFIRM that that model TV Tuner works flawlessly with Orb (without any of the problems people were posting about having when setting it up on the PC -- example: the problem with Orb setting up people's remotes.)
Thanks ahead of time.

I'm sorry to ask, usually I'm pretty good with figuring these things out.....
I have Orb on my PC, I have it on my iphone. I can see that there are movie files in Orb on my iphone (i can see the thumbnails), but when I touch them, it says "connecting" for a couple minutes, then says it can't play the file.
I don't always get the same error, sometimes it says it can't play that format, so am I doing something wrong? Do the files have to be a certian file type?

You need a TV tuner card for you PC.
Now, does anyone know the answer to my issue I posted above?

You don't need a TV tuner to access the movies or music files you have on your pc, and the internet streams work fine over edge with full service. They do however look a bit choppy. Please hit the thanks button if I helped you out
