AppSnapp Updates

The popular 1.1.1 jailbreak utility, AppSnapp (also known as jailbreakme.com) has been updated. There is now a progress indicator, and the jailbreak will only run on 1.1.1, with increased reliability.
You can SSH in to the iPhone and check log files for AppSnapp actions now as well.

Yes, it has nothing to do with AppSnapp. Please start a new thread in the Native App Discussion forum if you have a question about Native Apps.

If we have already used AppSnap before the updates, should we do it again to receive the updates?

i used jailbreakme.com when it was first released and man was it fast. My phone is jailbroken and I can SSH into the phone...etc. but independence doesn't say that the phonei s jailbroken and I cannot change the Root password from default.
Should I run it again?

not if you're already jailbrokenDo I have to restore and then re-jailbreak using this method?
THIS IS NOT A NEW JAILBREAK, IT SIMPLY MAKES IT EASIER TO JAILBREAK 1.1.1 IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY OR NEED TO RESTORE FOR ANY REASON!

I dont know if this helps, but I initially used Independence to jail real 1.1.1, and after I installed Customize I had your same problem of all my apps crashing. Then I heard about jailbreake.com so I restored and used the one-touch website. Has been working INCREDIBLY for a little over a week now, Customize and all.

I just want to be absolutely sure before I proceed:
I have a jailbroken and unlocked (use it outside the US, non AT&T) iphone version 1.0.2 and I want to update to 1.1.1 (mainly for the mail attatchment landscape view and itunes), does this AppSnapp will permit me to do that and still be jailbroken and capable of being used with my non-US sim? I believe I need also anySim, but can someone instruct me before I screw up... Thanks.

Check the virginize and upgrade guide in the Wiki, that's what you need. Mainly make sure you virginize first.
