God, this is a nice piece of software. It runs seamlessly on both windows and Mac OS X. Then again both windows and OS X are running on my macbook.

One last question before I give this a go. Does this mean that I will lose all my sources (which is no big deal)? Second, say it resets installer, I dont lose my apps, however, will installer still show all the apps I have installed and notify me when there is an update or will I have to reinstall all my stuff in order for it not to show up as installable and be able to update it.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
last version workd for me hope it helps i got .net 3.5 running

So is this safer than the Pwnage Tool method? Or am I missing something here?

I'm looking into that Windows exception... Not sure why it happens but I'll see if there's a fix

Backups unfortunately use SSH on Windows because using Manzana to get large amounts of files was throwing errors. I need some time to debug it and find the root of the problems. As such, it takes a while to backup on Windows, but I believe it should work fine. The length of time it takes changes relative to how fast a Wi-Fi connection you have... typically it should take like 15-20 minutes but it could go more or less.
It should be faster on OS X (like 10 min or less). I'm working on getting the USB backups working on Windows for the next update.
As a side note, iDOptions has begun development and should be included in the next update as well (it will be a separate app from iD3, which will work alongside iD3).

My backup took about 2 minutes surprisingly. I have about 25 apps installed. Also, how can I back up Media?

ok for the backing up how about something like 45 mins, is that tooo long ?

-

45 minutes means something is probably wrong, unless you have a slow connection.
@racinboi63: OS X I take it? 2 minutes can be expected on OS X because it uses the direct connection... It takes longer on Windows. Oh, and to sync Media, you just sync with iTunes to save your music, images, etc. If you restore through iTunes, it backs up Media and preferences as well, and backs it up after restore.

My backup is still going, about an hour now. Connection is very fast however.
Something is most definitely wrong.

hmm, if your apps are on the Media partition and symlinked across, it may be screwing up the backups. Or not...
iTunes doesn't backup the media partition, just media like ringtones, music, whatever.
