vWallpaper video wallpaper released

So basically I have restored my iPhone and re-jailbreaked it. I am on firmware 2.0.2. I have cydia and installer. I added i.danstaface.net to the sources in Installer and I refershed. The vWallpaper doesn't show up at all in any category. Can anybody let me know HOW I can find it?? THanks alot and take care.

It's not in Installer (pretty much nothing is in Installer). It's in Cydia. And for a donation to the author, he will supply you with instructions on how to install vWallpaper in 2.0.x

I would really like to see more video themes with seamless loop. Not the ones with black pause. Is really possible to make seamless loop without the black break? Those themes like Blue plasma?
Those themes that tricks with black (like thunder) or have an black beginning and end are better looking than the pause ones.
That's my opinion.

ok so, when i go to installer and type i.danstaface.net, it works but vwallpaper not under all packages or multimedia. and when i go to cydia and type the source i get an error about not being available/did not repo.
so how can i get this, please help. thank you

Hi All

Thanks to Skrew for all his hard work. I believe in paying for anything that you use. However it must work and I am looking at vwallpaper/vringtone by Skrew also the new rival, which I won't publisise in this thread. So any help here would be apreciated and point me in the right direction.

Just having what seems to be a bit of a problem.

The vwallpaper video works great, however having a problem with vringtones. I assign a global vringtone, it works great. I choose to add a couple of vringtones to some contacts but it then changes the global vringtone and any other pre assigned vringtones to the last choosen. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

My skrew directory shows it as 1000 and mobile not root as previously read in the forum. Could this be the problem and if so how do you change the skrew dir to root as it seems to be read only.

it's a good app when it works, but I find it incredibly unstable and crashy. Especially after working well for a while, it just decides to start crashing, with no logical explanation.

One thing apart from stability I'd like to see is video previews before downloading. So many times I've downloaded a video ringtone only to find I don't like it.

awesome app i really appreciate the work that was put into it. video walls and tones work great for me!

i am wondering if it is possible to have the videotone play so that it is not stretched to full screen. it distorts the picture and doesnt look as clear. im fine with it not filling the whole screen but would prefer the viewability to be a little better for the short time that it is playing.

Yeah additional is the main question because i have it up and running with a matrix background...looks great but i would like some more choices...so if anyone else has some input i would appreciate it....thanks!

i'm new and i need help regarding the vWallpaper app.

it's working fine for me but i want to add more videos. there is no option to add a source with the video.

Can i download them from the internet and add them via my PC?

Yes you can. SSH your phone and go to var>mobile>media>skrew>videos
You should then see them the next time you open vWallpaper. Visit the media>wallpaper section of this forum. There are some very nice choices.
