vWallpaper video wallpaper released

This makes sense and i will check both routes when i get back home....i have a question though....(slight noob question so be gentle)
the fix to make it seem like 1.1.3 i believe was used to unlock via Ziphone and have it recoginze it was jailbroken...i think the download was "ZiPhone iBrickr Fix" (please correct me if im wrong) Can i unistall this without any problems??? Then i should be able to download the wallpapers and have them route to the proper location. I am hesitate to unistall since i dont know what it will do? Anyone with any input or can explain this to me??

Dont uninstall it. If you needed ziphone ibrickr fix, then if you take it out you will lose access to your file hierarchy.You can move the vpapers manually if you need them in a new location or "proper" locale. Thats up to you. Are they(the vpapers) not being read? Is that why? Well I suggest you leave ziphone ibrickr fix in place as its a sub for an erased proxy pac.

I was using CuteFTP with SSH for a little while but recently i have had a problem connecting it for some reason....i will try Winscp

i disagree, i think perhaps they are as good as each other though. I would use winscp (so need wifi) over iphonebrowser because i get on with it better.
& i also use putty for quick terminal commands (or vt-100).

The ibricker fix isnt proxy pac stuff, it enables Nate True's ibricker to access the files structure correctly. As i said, the 1.1.3 JB's etc etc were to be honest a cock up!! and thusly ibricker hasnt been updated i dont think really since then, so its not been changed to work correctly with 1.1.4.

Ideally, i bricker shud be updated, instead of the phones being tricked to work.

what if you manually create a /private/var/mobile/Media/Skrew/Videos/ and then try downloading.

Failing that, try this:

goto /System/Library/Lockdown/

rename Services.plist to Services.bak,
then rename Services.plist.backup to Services.plist

and reboot & retry downloading videos.

But be careful!! without SSH to recover if nething goes wrong you may do more damaage than good.

Im not sure how the auto-lock works... if your downloading something, i would hope it woudl "stay alive" but obv if it doesnt, and the it goes to lock, the wifi or edge gets cut off hence buggering up the download.

Set your auto-lock to never if your busy for a few hours d/l stuff

Also, are you running skrewcommon 1.2? few (& i mean just a few) ppl have reported the the auto-lock "fix" in this version actually just forces the lock.

Try it with autolock off first then report back

28MB file takes 2 hrs on EDGE, was at work and wanted to try it... you have to hope you don't get a phone call in the middle = starting over from the beginning!

takes 20min on wifi... for me anyway... just a friendly note and there is a new vWP up on the repo

And thats why I am trying to add these to my repo... everyone is on something different and so it helps those that don't know the file system or want to bother with it...
I use iphonebrowser though and have never had a problem with it!

It will say that you need to update to 1.2 but just leave it... worked for me!

I can stop it from buggin about an update i think, i intentionally left it unmodified incase there should ever be an update beyond 1.2. i f i modify it you woudnt know and would have to manually check.
