apear to be down just trying to get this installed on my friends phone .even made her a hello kitty wallpaper lol ! but can't find the app in installer and both sources say uncategorized source instead of skrew

The repo has not been functioning for at least a day, perhaps longer. If anyone has copies of SkrewCommon 1.0 and vWallpaper .8 they could post until such time as the repo is back up, that may help.

I have tried everything to get this app working.... EVERYTHING, even doing a fresh restore/jailbreak and only downloading the app and nothing else to make sure nothing was conflicting.... I rebooted a thousand times I just cant get it to work.... Anyone have any tips/hints/advil?

Anyone have any ideas, its pretty sucky that this program just won't work,

• Make sure you have these versions installed - .8 of vWallpaper and 1.0 of ScrewCommon
• SSH into your iPhone, and set the properties of the entire folder of vWallpaper to 0755 recursively
• Double check how and where you have any videos stored
• After installation, be sure to turn off and turn on vWallpaper. Also, be sure to re-boot your iPhone
• There is also a helpful hint that is a bit more complicated that worked for a number of people a while back in this very long thread. Scroll back and look for it... sorry I don't recall where it is.

Side note -
The reopository is not working. Attempts to install any app from Screw's repository currently bring up the following message - "Error - Package download failed. can't find host!"

I fixed it, and this should probably be put on his website for anymore problems like mine.

What i did was goto Settings>General>Reset All Settings - Rebooted (It Froze on Reboot) (Hard Reboot - Lock + Home button) > Went back into vWallpaper, Switched it off then on, hit reset springboard and Bam Worked....

Do read the thread!!! or at least use search within thread!

vWallpapers are 320x480, in mp4 or mov format. Quicktime can be used to export to either format. video rate doesnt really matter - its trial and error depending on how heavy the content of the video is...if its jumpy, recode at a different rate. avoid keyframes too stick to just 1 or 2.

i cant click my icons, and a reboot doesnt even work, now when i turn it back on it goes to the springboard and then my top bar with the time and wifi, they disappear then it automatically reboots, anyone have any idea how to fix this.....

okay it starts up, realized i had low battery lol, but i still have that problem i cant click any icons, all they do is turn dark and shutting it off and on and a hard reboot still dont work, i can still ssh into my phone so if anyone knows what files i should delete i would appreciatte it, thanks in advance.

Update. Got it working, in case anyone else has this problem, what i did was ssh into my phone through terminal and remotely opened up Installer (# /Applications/Installer.app/Installer), and once in Installer the touch screen worked so i just uninstalled the app

The format u need to convert the videos to is .mov or .mp4.
just make them 320x480 and I suggest u dont make ur videos too long.

hi, i had try so many way to change the rate but still can't play, may be somebody can help me to check what happen or may be do the conversion for me? is just a very small file ya, hope i can know the answer of why can't be play in my iphone?
