im using vwallpaper 0.8 on my 1.1.4 phone and everytime i leave an app, my wallpaper is black for a quick second or less before the video wallpaper actually shows up and works. Is this quick lag normal?

Yes at least 1.1.3, you can also go to 1.1.4. But I am happy with 1.1.3 and see no need for 1.1.4

Yes, thats normal. the video stops playing everytime an app is launched, so restarts playback on closing an app.

If you watch carefully you'll see your background go black when an app launches too!

I also noticed that my vwallpaper app only launches when my wifi toggle is switched to on. It doesn't necessarily have to be connected to wifi (like if I'm in an area without wifi) but as long as my wifi is on, then the app launches. If its switched to off, the screen goes black like its trying to load but stays like that for like a minute then kicks me out and goes to the springboard. I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else and if its some kind of glitch or error that hasn't been fixed yet

Erm, are you talking about the vwallpaper app itself? ive not tried it, however, the first page DOES look up the internet...it could be feasible that without wifi it kicks straight back out because the app "crashes" if it can access the internet.

Looking at the code, each time the app loads, its loading http://i.danstaface.net/site/news_vwallpaper.php, so if no connection is present or wifi is off then it would make sense that it crashes as i see no connection detection being used.

On a side note, over 200+ UNIQUE downloads of the "blank space app" ... only 1 person told me the other day that it wasnt working !!!

ive updated my repo & its now installable. please note tho, until i get help with something, you will need to manually set the permission of "Embark" (within " .app") to 755.

Because of the space chmod or chown refuse to work and give me main script execution error??

Your best bet is to just update to 114 then use iliberty+ to jailbreak. Ziphone is a dangerous app in simple skin.

Odd. Version 5 of the program didn't work for me. Version 6 & 7 did. Now, version 8 doesn't. It did at first, but then locked up and quit. Now I can't get it to work at all. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but no luck.

this app is great. all versions worked for me execpt when i update skrew common 1.1. i had to restore my phone and put everything bacck on..man i have alot of stuff. i have 0.8 working now and i love it. i dont think i will update skrew anymore..its working great.

If you have tried all other troubleshooting methods and this app is still not working for you try this solution;

go to summberboard and switch "theme wallpaper" and "theme icons" off

MAKE SURE YOU SWITCH THEM BOTH OFF
