I just wanted to say great job, I can see the pressure from the other thread to push this out. Now windows users have something to work with. I used my mac but many of my friends that I don't see to often but have contact with over email and IMs will be very happy because now I can just send them the file after they pwn it.

see atleast some people are given props then complaining. That's why things are call beta there still in test phase and this gives pros to noobs the chance to put there input to the developer and let him know of more bugs and so on. What worked fine what is troubling after you did what you can to get to work. The more input he gets the stronger you guys will make this application and quicker the full version will cone out. So I also higly encourage you to email him or chat with him on the IRC and stop crying.

whos getting blown? haha DEA is sick as hell. they did a big *** weed bust on tonights episode. it was like a plastic bin filled over the top.
i pwned my phone and its cool. worked good on my xp, i partitioned vista to bare minimum hd space

No noob here,but i used winpwn and it when through its process and it didn't reboot. Now i have a black screen with no apple sign or anything. but computer recon. iphone i try to open itune , itunes states The iphone "iphone" cannot be used with itunes because the Sim card is Pin locked or not installed. You must enter your Sim Pin or insert your new Sim Card into your iphone to activate it. Doesnt explain black screen . Does anyone smart than me have any suggestions. Thank you and please!

It got through the pwning process(supposedly... didn't get different logos...). Currently building a custom ipsw file with my own boot/restore images :P Will Update when I: 1. Finish Building the Custom IPSW or 2. Fail Miserably and have to wait til I get home to my precious 'Mac' on Friday

Btw, props to cmw and the iPhone Dev Team for pwning the iPhone and stepping ahead of Apple in the Cat/Mouse game You guys def. rock out loud. And you def. don't deserve the whiners >

Nice to see the beta released. I'll be waiting for the official release before I try out winpwn because I need to be able to unlock baseband for use with my Network Provider down here in Aussieland. Congrats and great work to CMW for his hard work on this project.

It says that it 2.0 firmware is disabled because it needs more testing so you will be using the 1.1.4 firmware.

Well funny thing... I've tried like 8 different approaches with this tool and none of them do anything. I do get a QEMU acceleration layer not activated error in the debug mode...
