I recently purchase a 8gb iphone with firmware 1.1.1. I downgraded the firmware 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 and unlocked the phone. Now there are ways to unlocked firmware 1.1.1. I want to restore or virginize my phone back to firmware 1.1.1, is there a way to do that. Thank all in advance!!!

I am getting some errors but the main problem is that when I run “./iUnlock ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls ./eliteloader.bin” I get "FW Differences found" and when I run “./bbupdater -f ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ./ICE03.14.08_G.eep” I get failed to download .fls if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Nevermind, fixed it by re-installing BSD Subsystem.

this is not hard at all.

just put the folder in the usr/bin or w/e and go into terminal, then copy/paste everything it tells you to execute and boom ur finished in 5-10minutes.

then just use independence guide at hacktheiphone.com to update to 1.11 and jailbreak/ssh/unlock.

the folder goes in the iphone using cyberduck or fugu (i used fugu) in usr/bin/(FOLDER HERE)

and all the commands i did on the mac.

after virginizing, i ran independence steps for jailbreaking/ssh'ing/unlocking

and now im running 1.11 tmobile iphone. good luck to u =]

Thanks for the reply 360. How does running terminal on the Mac know to execute the commands on the iPhone. I've never set up SSH or anything like that, just used iFuntastic, or INdependence, apptap and installer... Some people have mentioned needing to run a windows app, is that still needed? Thanks : )

Click here for an automated script that will give the user the option to just backup the seczone or both backup and revirginize. This script also performs decent sanity checking prior to executing anything. NOTE: The virginator.zip package that was originally posted contains a bug that prevents virginization. The link has been updated to download virginator_10.zip, which is the fixed version.

I just used virginiser_10 successfully, with no errors.

Right now, I've already Pre-1.1.1'ed with iNdependence, and I'm getting ready to upgrade to 1.1.1.

I'm not sure either why I'm doing this, since my 1.0.2 works oh-so-fine. Oh well, guess we'll find out, huh?

nah no windows app is needed for this one.

yes u do need to run ssh if u want to use the terminal on the mac. but its not hard to set up just install OPENSSH from installer, then you can run the steps to virginize your iphone safely.

*OH YEA, and when it asks you for your password when you log into ur i.p. aderess in terminal, the password is: dottie (when you type in the password it wont show you typing it on the screen, its invisible, so just type it in and it will log you in)
