this app would be cool if you didn't have to downgrade to 1.02, and lose your stuff via restore... hopefully a 1.11 jailbreak comes about. At least apple will release an SDK if not. For now I am gonna live without the cool 3rd party apps, constantly re configuring my phone and worry about bricking at the next update sorta takes away from the "convenience-time-saving" aspect of a pda-phone-internet appliance

10-21-2007, 02:28 PM #49iNdependence 1.2.4 & AppTapp
I went through the whole proces with iNdependence and I can't seem to get to AppTapp.
I did a work around with iNdependence and pulled AppTapp directly into the iPhone, but now AppTapp won't recognize that I have 1.1.1.
Anyone else have the same problem? I can't get any summerboard to install, and AppTapp won't update to the new version.

1)Do i just use iNdpendence1.2.4 and activate and jailbreak it?
2) install anySIM (newer version) and unlock it?
or will i have to downgrade the base band.

FYI - iNdependence v1.2.5 is out!
This release is mainly to fix the SSH timeout problems some people were having, and to get the documentation correct with regard to downgrading to 1.0.2 and upgrading again. DropbearSSH has been replaced with OpenSSH in this version. See the CHANGELOG for details. Note that ringtone customization does not work yet in this release.
