One Click 1.1.1 Jailbreak for iPhone (OSX)

If you are in a Sim Free unlocked 1.0.2 phone and wish to update to 1.1.1 do you still need to create the Trip1Prepz (Symlink) or can you simply update and run this?

This install uses the TIFF vulnerability security flaw, not the symlink.

so with this jailbreak, must one be on 1.0.2, then jailbreak, then upgrade to 1.1.1?
Also will this method disable itunes synching and show that only 300 megs are left???

I Dont see in the instructions anywhere on what firmware one should be when running the software. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Just installed this and it seemed to work great. I do have an issue though - I had a bunch of apps installed when I upgraded to 1.1.1. They of course went away with the upgrade and now seem to be back after this JailBreak. In INSTALLER if I hit upgrade or uninstall I see all my old programs. I do not see any apps on my springboard, except for installer. (Dont even see SummerBoard) When I try to uninstall summerboard I get an error (Error during uninstall script execution!). I get the same error trying to unstall DOCK but BSD Subsystem uninstalled fine.

Any ideas what is going on. SO happy to have Installer back but I want everything working.

FYI to others - You do NOT have to downgrade. This was REALLY easy to do.

EDIT: A few other programs dont uninstall - but I just downloaded a new program that Id never had and it shows up just fine. I think I need a way to delete all old apps and start fresh with just installer?

EDIT 2: More things with my issue;

I had filled the first 'page' of my springboard and added another app so I now get the left/right scroll (instead of scroll down from 1.0.2) which I think means SummerBoard is, in some ways, working? Or at least effecting things. Again, it is not in my Springboard at all.

Also - I uninstalled Customize and reinstalled, launched and it just crashes

Great work! I had gone the long way around last week to upgrade and jailbreak my phone (god I love my iPhone with 3rd party apps) but it's great to see that if I need to do it again this is now available

I think that is your best bet at this point, although I am not 100% sure on it. I only skim over stuff about unlocked phones

I read some where that this is a known issue with customize. I cant find where I read it or really remember what it said I think you need to restart you phone. ( I dont remember if you need to just turn it off or hold home and sleep buttons) That worked for me when I upgraded I was having trouble and this fixed it.

If I have a 1.0.2 phone which is now unlocked, activated (T-Mobile SIM) and jailbroken. What are the steps I have to take to get those three things working while also updating to 1.1.1?

I dont know about this, but I can tell you the one touch for ipod touch works with 1.1.1 for windows. It took 5 hours, literally, the frist time, but when i re did it it worked in ten minutes

as far as one click baseband downgrader digitol and I have actually been working together to make one (requires that you have ssh running) and it is working, just needs a couple tweaks b4 its to go public

Did you stop it? or let it run through for the 5 hours? did you do anything differnent the second time.
