Right now the 2.0 Beta can't be unlocked, but it is said that Zibri has found out how to unlock the new baseband. We already know that pwned will unlock 2.0 Beta. But right now, no you cannot unlock, activate, or jailbreak it.

This is not the 1.2 firmware image, it's the 2.0 one that has been out for a few days.

I downloaded it and installed it on my iphone but because its ummm a beta you need to have some sort of special registration tacked on to your itunes account. But if you have an iTouch its supposed to work perfectly if you use the ipod package thats included in the torrent. So Ill wait for the PAWNAGE Tool this week to activate it on my Iphone using 1.2/2.0.

iPod touch gets the whats being called the PSOD (Pink Screen Of Death). I believe, i will test tomorrow probably.

To reverse from the update. All you have to do is restore to 1.1.4 twice. If you get error 1015, use ziphone to boot your iPod or iPhone into normal mode. To downgrade your baseband

Well iPwnr seems to now make this firmware usable if you want. For iTouch dont check anything and for iPhone check Activation...

I've just installed the 2.0 firmware on my iPhone using Pwnage - all went well, and seems to work. I have full phone usage and have even uploaded a sample app built with the latest beta SDK - works fine (and no, I'm not in the USA)!

The only issue I've seen so far is that it takes ages for the phone to switch off and on. Also, there is no installer loaded by Pwnage - I just used SSH to get the app loaded from the SDK

I'll play a little more this afternoon and see how it goes
