OS 4.0 with Windows anyone ??
Is it possible to upgrade to 4.0 using Windows PC ? I keep getting unknown error 13

Are you sure that you are using iTunes version 9.1? I installed it on 2 ipods today from windows..

Yes I have updated itunes to 9.1

There is no legitimate way to upgrade via windows yet unfortunately. There will be in the not too distant future maybe. There are plenty of people asking amongst developers already lol

i updated to itunes 9.1 and now i can't even connect to itunes store. i looked around and alot of people are having the same problem. Windows 7 itunes 9.1 all connections and and settings are correct, check all the trouble shooting from itunes. Nothing has worked!! Any ideas?

It's window if u upgrade through vmware workstation you can bypass windows errors and just restore through leopard will on a pc no hackintosh required.

Thanks I ended up installing OS x on one of my PCs and finally got Iphone 4.0 OS installed on my phone. Thanks for everybody's help.

I made a new partition on my running laptop downloaded mac os and installed on that partition.
