problem with iphone 2g and ipod touch 3g firmware

hello everybody,

i got some problem with the firmware file for iphone 2g and ipod touch 3g. after download finished and extract the file i try to find the file with extenstion (.ipsw) but didn't find it. even i download the file from modmyi website and the same problem showed. what should i do, help me please.

Are you using Safari? I think Safari converts the ipsw file to a zip file. Try to dowload them using Firefox
