Autostart app and relaunch on crash

Hi

I've written an app to control some things in my house.
Other people are also using it and i don't wan't them to be able to close the app.
I already disabled the menubutton and lockbutton with MobileSubstrate libs.

However the app sometimes crashes and it's also possible to get to the homescreen after the ipod reboots(for example if the battery runs out).
I need to launch the app immediately at startup and also relaunch it automatically if it crashes.

I already checked out launchd and launchctl, but wasn't able to start an UI-app.

Can somebody please help me?

Bump. I'd like to know as well. I tried messing around with launchd/launchctl without success. In my case I'm trying to get iDNS to launch automatically at startup.

[edit] There's a package in Cydia called "Hell Launchd Routines" which sounds promising except I have no clue how to use it. Can anyone provide some guidance on this? Thanks [/edit]
