Next iPod touch rumor.
I thought I read about a rumor that the next iPod touch is gonna have the video recording that the nano has but no picture taking.
I know the nano is helpless because of it's lack of operating system, per se, but since the iPod touch can do amazing things, do you think someone could mod it in such a way that it can take pictures also?
I was just curious if this was possible.

I'm sure that if the iTouch had a camera, someone would develop a way to take pictures with it.

But the fact that it has a lens makes me think software could be developed to use it like a camera.

um it will probably be like the 1g iphone dont think that could record videos till cycorder? probably if it does record videos it "is" deffenitly possible to capture pictures with it.

lol why would they put a cam on the itouch? that would completely hurt iphone sales.

i doubt it would "hurt" iphone sales.. whats hurting iphone sales IMO is it being locked to a network if they sold "iphones" without being attached to a network that right there would boost there sells, heard on the news the other day about google releasing there new phone with android software where you can buy it and chose your own network, "that" is going to hurt iphone sales.

12-17-2009, 06:37 PM #13lol your right about that but honestly the only difference between an Iphone and an ipod touch is the video, calling/mms, voice features. Honestly, on the ipod touch, you can still text just not everywhere and you can sorta call with a certain mic. And IMO people would probably buy the ipod touch over the iphone because they already have a phone or because the iphone is a piece of **** IMO. Originally Posted by phatxskill
