Default Jailbroken Apps on the primary partition.

I'm not entirely sure if this question is in the correct place so moderators please feel free to move this thread. :-)

I was in bed last night thinking about why jailbroken apps are installed on the primary partition.

As most of you will know, when you select Apple's official upgrade within iTunes all the software on the primary partition is replaced with the new software and thus the iPhone is then un-jailbroken. Also, ALL jailbroken apps are erased!

Now I was just wondering why the jailbroken apps are not installed on the secondary partition along with the App Store apps?

I realise that they would no longer run as the iPhone is no longer jailbroken but you could then re-jailbreak and not have to install all your apps from Cydia again!

Can someone explain why this is not possible? because I'm sure if it was possible it would have been done already.
If I helped please head on over and smash the Thanks button.
