Installing iPhone OS on an iClone?
Does anyone know of software that exists that allows you to install the iPhone operating system onto a Chinese iPhone rip-off (iClone, sciphone, etc.)?
Is this possible to do?

lol. i disagree. ever heard of iAtkos or x86??? They said running mac osx on a pc was impossible too. this is the same basic concept. mac osx is designed to run on mac hardware only... until someone took the os and modified it (iAtkos for instance). i was able to get a spare dell computer to run os x leopard easily. i'm not a software engineer but i'd think all you need to do is pick an iclone model such as the i9, and if you had the level of skill, modify the iphone os itself to be able to interface with the i9 hardware. It would be a serious amount of work but it is definitely not impossible. i do have an iphone but i think it would be nice to be able to buy an i9 for $70 and load the iphone os on it and use it on any network.

Yeah. There is just way too much dependancy on the right hardware to make the iPhone OS work on the iPhone Hardware alone. To make it work on an iClone, you would have to go through and replace hardware that would cost the same amount as a new iPhone.
