How to generate phone call by clicking a number in IPhone?

Hi All,

I need to generate a phone call on clicking a number in Iphone from my application.

one way i have tried by using "openURL for tel" but it is terminating my application after generating phone call.

i want to generate a phone call from my application itself without terminating my application and without using "openURL for tel" .

Can anybody tell me how it is possible?

i know that was possibe in version 2.2.1 with clippy. This app has implemented cut, copy, paste and with a plugin for clippy it also has "dial" option if u write a number in any other app. For instance i used to write phone numbers in "notes", and with a long touch a clippy poup up appeared with options: cut, copy, paste, dial (if any number was written in my note).
