Icon name's Are Different ?

When i tryed to upload my modded icon ( PICTURES.PNG )and did a respring from my theme , it doesnt show my modded icon .


im running 3.0 jailbroke with Ultrasn0w .


SOmeone has the list of all icon names ? because text.png doesnt work either

on 3.0 text is now named Messages, what are the others your having a problem with?
PICTURES.PNG is wrong also all icon names are case sensitive also. If it's photos icon, should be named Photos.png

I have no iPhone but just an iPod so it's hard to see and test an iPhone, for my future theming has anyone posted a complete list of the icon text?

I tried that on Winterboard on my 2G and it didn't work without the space.

Is there a way to check out the names of all apps via SSH? I have some icons I made that don't work either.

the easiest way to see the actual name is to make icons wiggle press the X like your going to delete the app, it will show the exact way it is named.

Ssh to the device and open up The applications folder; native Apps are listed there.

If Your icons dont work you could also try to:
- create a folder in Your theme directory called Folders e.g

yourtheme.theme\Folders

now create folders that equal the name of your apps e.g

yourtheme.theme\Folders\MobileSms.app

- create or copy your icon to this folder, and name it "icon.png"

wow, that's a lot of work for one icon. if named correctly they all will work for me.

I am running into an issue with a custom Voice Memos.png icon.

My springboard is themed and my Categories folders are themed correctly. The only issue I have is the Voice Memos.png icon refuses to display the custom icon within a Categories folder.

I delete Voice Memos from Categories and it displays the custom icon on my springboard just fine. But when I try to move Voice Memos into a Categories folder it reverts to the default icon every stinking time.

I've tried naming it:
Voice Memos.png
VoiceMemos.png
voicememos.png
voice memos.png
Dictaphone.png

Nothing works in Categories. Anyone have any ideas?

Evert categories folder had an options panel, which you van access by clicking on the "i" on the right bottom corner.
Go there and at the bottom choose your icon theme to be used in categories

That isn't the problem. My Categories folder is already pointing to the correct theme folder (via the "i" button).

Like I said if I remove it from Categories the custom icon shows up on the springboard. But when I put it into Categories the default icon shows up. Other icons in this folder are themed correctly so it is working how it should be. Just the Voice Memos icon won't display the custom icon in Categories. I've got no idea why.
