Is anyone developing Push Apps

Just wanted to know if anyone is developing Push applications for the Iphone and if so, how do they plan to interface with Apple's APNS. Are you building your own back-end?

We have developed and are Beta testing a Back-end service for posting messages to Apples APNS service, but have had very little response to our service offering (It's FREE).
