Using Iphone SDK for Jailbroken Iphone

I am just starting developing for the iphone (reading a few books). But none of these books are for jailbroken applications. I was wondering, once jailbroken, how would I go about using apps developed in the SDK? Also, how do I code my program to do things such as accessing itunes music and core functions usually restricted to applications?
